Mitigation & Restoration Field Supervisor
*Experience in the water/fire/mold restoration industry is mandatory for this role.
The Mitigation Supervisor will train and supervise mitigation technicians who respond to emergencies in homes and businesses caused by water, fire, flood, soot, storm, mold, trauma, and other emergencies. This supervisory role will consistently provide excellent quality mitigation by meeting or exceeding accepted industry standards. The Mitigation Supervisor will recognize that they represent the DRY FIRST brand and must conduct themselves professionally and follow and enforce company policies and procedures. The Mitigation Supervisor deals directly with customers while directing and sometimes assisting with mitigation work.
As a 24/7/365 operation, ALL DRY FIRST Service Department personnel participate in an on-call rotation to support emergencies and ongoing company projects.

Responsibilities:
· Supervise (and be hands-on, as needed) in field mitigation activities, including demolition, cleaning, emergency flood service, mold remediation, restorative structural drying, fire & smoke damage cleaning and deodorization, contents cleaning, pack out and storage, and other specialized cleanings.· Ensure proper set-up, documentation, and monitoring of all equipment. Upon completion of jobs, ensure equipment pick up, cleaning, and return to DRY FIRST's warehouse.
· Ensure timely arrival of personnel for scheduled appointments and emergency service calls. Communicate with property owners/managers and other parties.
· Protect customers' property from further damage including, but not limited to, usage of protective shoe covers and floor mats, sealing containment areas to prevent the spread of dust and other materials, safe removal of furnishings, flooring, walls, etc. Daily, ensure that tools and materials left on-site overnight are organized and placed in a secure location, that trash is removed, and that the client’s property is left clean and safe, always taking due care with clients' properties and belongings.
· Ensure cleaning and maintenance of all tools, equipment, and facilities, including workspaces; dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling field equipment, and other similar tasks.
· Ensure health and safety procedures are strictly followed, including but not limited to safe lifting of a minimum of 50#, usage of (PPE) personal protective equipment, safe and proper chemical labeling, and job site safety and security.
· Will interact with homeowners, property managers, or others while carrying out job responsibilities. Interactions will be conducted courteously and professionally by uniformed personnel.
· Proactively will communicate issues, concerns, and problems that may affect the completion of a job, to the immediate supervisor, DRY FIRST's Operations Manager.
· Will attend periodic training and education development programs whenever available to improve skills, safety, and overall value to the company.
· Provide after-hours emergency support as part of a rotating on-call emergency team.
· Perform all other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
· This is a supervisory position. Experience in the mitigation industry is mandatory
· High school or GED education.
· An ability to interpret verbal directions and understand job work orders is a must.
· Strong work ethic and the ability to guide, train, and supervise others.
· Must possess knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the mitigation field.
IICRC certification is a plus!
