Commercial Account Executive
We are looking to hire a business development/relationship management professional in the Houston area for our growing sales department.
This is a fantastic opportunity in a recession and pandemic-resistant industry, with opportunities for un-capped commission and professional growth to go along with a base salary, bonus structure and benefits.
Qualifications

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop the pipeline of new business through prospecting. This requires a thorough knowledge of the marketplace, service offerings, and competition.
- Develop, diligently follow up and maintain key relationships with clients, including but not limited to: Property Managers, Directors of Maintenance, Facility Managers, Risk Managers, Maintenance teams, etc.
- Identify targets: Commercial Class A, Education, Healthcare, Multi-Family
- Conduct education and training programs to grow our sales with Commercial opportunities. Examples would include but are not limited to Lunch and Learns, Trainings, and Co-Marketing Events for clients.
- Execute tactics to support overall company strategies/goals by identifying potential sales opportunities within the insurance/restoration industry.
- Work in tandem with our Sales Consultant to drive profitable revenue growth.
- Participate in Property and Facility Management Industry Events monthly or more based on opportunities.
- Join and get involved with Associations within the Industry that will generate leads, such as: Bay Area Apartment Association, BOMA, IMFA, etc
- Utilize CRM software to manage new and existing clients and accounts and maintain records of all marketing activities.
- Attend training courses and continuous learning opportunities for the purpose of fine-tuning your craft.
- When applicable, represent The Company at Tradeshows/Golf-outings and similar events to create business opportunities. Drive the creation of engaging and impactful displays and excitement around the brand.
Weekly meeting with Consulting Firm:
- 45 minutes per week with Sales Management Consulting, required to meet more hours at the beginning of the launch of the relationship.
- Achieve approximately 70 connections per week with clients and prospects via meetings, phone calls, and social media.
- Minimum 5 scheduled Probe Meetings/Discovery Meetings per week
- 30-40 face-to-face interactions per week such as route stops/site visits/networking events/meetings
- All activities must be documented in Luxor CRM.
Qualifications:
- 3 years outside sales experience required marketing to the property management and facilities management industry ideal, but not necessary
- Must be able to attend networking functions 2-4 evenings a month
- Moderate-level Microsoft Office skills
- Experience inputting and tracking sales-related data into a CRM system ideal.
- Valid driver's license
- Must enjoy hunting after new business and opportunities
- An outgoing, driven, team-oriented attitude is a requirement.
