The Role:
We are URGENTLY hiring for a Certified Lead Technician who is a hands-on leader responsible for responding to emergency water, fire, and other restoration claims, ensuring the proper setup and use of restoration equipment, and performing field activities such as demolition, cleaning, and specialized restoration work. This role includes overseeing the mitigation crew, maintaining quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction, and thoroughly documenting all work using company software. The Certified Lead Technician plays a vital role in restoring properties while delivering exceptional service to clients.
Superior Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to emergency water/fire damage claims and other restoration-related activities.
- Provide after-hours emergency support as part of an on-call rotation.
- Ensure proper setup and use of restoration equipment, including moisture detectors, water removers, and drying systems.
- Perform restoration activities such as demolition (removing drywall, insulation, carpet, etc.), emergency flood service, drying, fire/smoke damage cleaning, deodorization, and content cleaning.
- Conduct specialized cleaning in crawl spaces, attics, and other challenging areas.
- Work closely with Field Supervisors to lead the mitigation crew, ensuring quality control and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize company software like DASH and Matterport to scope jobs, update job details, and document all work thoroughly.
- Take clear photos and maintain detailed records for documentation.
Superior Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required
- Have an attitude of continued improvement and willingness to help others
- Possess working knowledge of 4 years of experience related to water restoration
- MUST have 3 or more IICRC certifications in the following: WRT, CCT, AMRT, RRT, ASD, HST
- Familiarity with restoration software like DASH and Matterport is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license
Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
