As a Reconstruction Superintendent at Dry Force, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Lead Project Manager for the Reconstruction department in our Austin office. Your primary responsibilities will involve actively overseeing "in-progress" projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, within scope, and meeting our quality standards. Below are the key obligations you will fulfill:
Responsibilities
- Morning Meetings: Participate in morning meetings with the Lead Project Manager to discuss ongoing projects and schedules, ensuring alignment on priorities and objectives.
- Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to all in-progress projects to ensure they are on schedule and within scope.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks on in-progress projects, ensuring that all work meets our quality standards and specifications.
- Material Coordination: Track material arrivals for projects and coordinate installation schedules with subcontractors to ensure timely completion.
- Subcontractor Management: Address any issues with subcontractors as they arise, providing action plans and solutions to keep projects on track.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of project progress through detailed notes and pictures, ensuring accurate records are kept throughout the project lifecycle.
- Issue Management: Immediately report any issues that may potentially slow down or halt project progress to the Lead Project Manager, enabling timely resolution.
- Supplement Requests: Document and request any supplements that may be discovered during the active project phase, ensuring all necessary adjustments are made promptly.
- Punch List Creation: Walk through projects with subcontractors to create a final punch list, ensuring all outstanding tasks are identified and addressed.
- Final Walkthrough: Notify the Lead Project Manager when a project is ready for the final walkthrough, ensuring completion and customer satisfaction.
- 2-4 years of previous industry experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with subcontractors and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in documenting project progress and using relevant software/tools.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
