Mitigation Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our team in the restoration industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for restoring properties and possess a strong understanding of various restoration processes. This role involves hands-on work in carpet cleaning, water damage restoration, fire restoration, and asbestos abatement. The Technician will play a crucial part in ensuring that properties are restored to their original condition while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

• Perform restoration tasks including water mitigation and mold remediation.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively and safely to complete restoration projects.
• Follow Project Manager and Crew Chief's assessment and scope to perform services.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas during and after projects.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Document work performed to include internal notes and project photographs and report any issues or additional needs to Project Manager and Crew Chief.

Skills

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for various restoration tasks.
• WRT or AMRT IICRC Certification a plus.
• Knowledge of the restoration industry.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess damage accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 65 per week
