OVERVIEW:
Drybar is looking for a Regional Market Manager to oversee multiple Drybar locations, ensuring that each store meets operational, financial, and customer satisfaction targets. The Regional Market Manager will be responsible for optimizing performance, maintaining profitability, and driving operational excellence across all locations. This includes managing labor costs to stay below 55%, ensuring shop consumption remains profitable, maintaining blowout ratings of 4.6 or higher, and ensuring compliance with Drybar’s standards and policies. This leadership role will directly impact the success and growth of our market by overseeing a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES PERFORMED:
· Labor Management:
- Monitor labor costs at each location to ensure that labor is consistently below 55% while still meeting customer demand and service quality standards.
- Partner with Assistant Shop Managers to optimize scheduling, adjust staffing levels based on demand, and execute labor cut strategies effectively.
- Analyze payroll reports and adjust labor practices to maintain profitability while ensuring a great client experience.
· Financial Performance & Shop Consumption:
- Oversee inventory management to ensure shop consumption (product usage and waste) remains at a profitable level.
- Ensure that product orders are efficiently managed, and that salon staff utilizes products according to guidelines to minimize wastage.
- Work with salon managers to track and control costs related to consumables, ensuring that inventory is stocked efficiently without over-purchasing.
· Customer Satisfaction & Service Quality:
- Monitor customer feedback and ensure that the "Rate Your Blowout" system consistently maintains an average rating of 4.6 or higher across all locations under your supervision.
- Work closely with Assistant Shop Managers to improve the customer experience, provide coaching to stylists, and address any service concerns or complaints.
- Drive initiatives to enhance client satisfaction through personalized experiences, service quality, and customer relationship management.
· Compliance & Operational Standards:
- Ensure all Drybar locations comply with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Stay up to date with labor laws, company guidelines, and industry best practices to ensure legal and procedural compliance at all locations.
· Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and support Assistant Shop Managers & Shift Leads, stylists, and other staff to create a positive and high-performance culture.
- Provide regular coaching and performance feedback to team members, focusing on service quality, labor management, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular training and development sessions to ensure staff are up to date with Drybar’s brand standards and technical skills.
· Market Strategy & Growth:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to execute market strategies for increasing sales, improving client retention, and driving new customer acquisition.
- Work with the marketing team to ensure brand messaging and promotions are effectively communicated and executed in all locations.
- Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and local opportunities to inform business decisions and achieve market growth.
· Reporting & Communication:
- Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), including labor costs, customer satisfaction ratings, and financial performance to executive leadership.
- Maintain clear communication channels between all locations and corporate teams, ensuring alignment on business goals and expectations.
· Problem Solving & Escalation:
- Act as the point of escalation for operational issues or concerns within the region, resolving problems efficiently and in a manner that upholds Drybar’s reputation for customer service and operational excellence.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to address issues proactively before they affect store performance.
