Job Summary:
I am seeking a dryer vent technician. This job involves assessing the condition of someones dryer vent, taking it apart, cleaning it, and putting it back together. There are opportunities to sell additional products, earning yourself additional income. This does involve ladders and roofs, so you must be comfortable with ladders and basic tool use. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service. You do not need to have dryer cleaning experience, I can teach you the job. You do need to be trustworthy, and a pleasant communicator, those things I cannot teach you.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Move dryer, remove transition tube, take before photo, clean vent, take after photo, replace tube, put dryer back.
• Stand on a ladder, crouch on the floor behind a dryer where there may not be much space, move minor furniture
• Work carefully and safely
• Provide excellent customer service to clients by addressing their concerns and answering their questions, smiling, being pleasant, even if reporting something about their system is broken
• Maintain accurate records of all services provided and report any issues or concerns to management
• Adhere to safety regulations and protocols when working on dryer vent systems
• Comfortable maneuvering equipment through peoples home without damaging anything

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Comfortable using tools and equipment
• Comfortable on a ladder
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift the vacuum in and out of the van (80 lbs)
• Physical ability to work on a ladder, or crouched on the floor
• Proficiency in navigating simple tablet-based technology
• Pass a background check

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $150.00 - $250.00 per day

Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
