Job Summary: We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Part-Time Dryer Vent Cleaning Crew Members. This role involves cleaning dryer vents at apartment and condominium complexes using specialized equipment. Ideal candidates are college-aged men or women looking for a summer job with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Setup and Operation:
- Set up and operate a compressor with 175 psi output.
- Attach and use the “blue hose” with a spinner head used to clean dryer vents.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of all equipment.
- Vent Cleaning:
- Feed the hose into dryer vents from the outside to remove the lint.
- Use a leaf vacuum to clean up lint and debris from the ground.
- Work on roofs to access and clean vents, using 24–40-foot ladders as needed.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Wear appropriate safety gear and ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure ladder safety and proper use of fall protection equipment when working at heights.
- Customer Interaction:
- Communicate professionally with property managers and residents.
- Address any questions or concerns regarding the cleaning process.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of completed jobs.
- Report any issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
