The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our school bus company, ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of students. This role involves managing staff, coordinating schedules, maintaining compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive relationship with clients, drivers, and other stakeholders. Pay range $95-$110,000/annual salary depending on experience.
Responsibility Profile:
- Coordinate and supervise daily transportation operations, including route planning, scheduling, and dispatching.
- Monitor bus routes to ensure on-time performance and address any operational challenges.
- Supervise and support Assistant Operation Managers as well as drivers, monitors and other support staff.
- Address employee concerns and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Provide open communication to team members for transparency and mutual understanding.
- Help employees be successful in completing their daily tasks.
- Provide feedback and coaching as necessary to ensure employees remain safe and compliant.
- Analyze reports and data to ensure accuracy.
- Attend meetings, conferences, and company events as necessary.
- Host meetings, daily stand up and safety sessions, and teams/zoom calls as required.
