Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Satellite Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of satellite systems for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in telecommunications and low voltage systems, with the ability to work independently in the field.
Duties
- Install satellite dishes and related equipment at customer locations.
- Conduct site surveys to determine optimal installation locations.
- Perform cabling and network installation, ensuring proper connections for satellite systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to satellite reception and connectivity.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to test electrical connections and ensure system functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system operations and addressing client inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in field service or as a service technician in telecommunications.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems, computer networking, and Ethernet configurations.
- Strong understanding of cabling techniques and network installation processes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- A valid driver’s license is required for travel to various job sites.
