SUMMARY
SLWM is looking for a dynamic, passionate, detail oriented and self-motivated individual who enjoys working with clients. The qualified candidate has a deep knowledge of concepts of design & creative, while finalizing complete production of projects from beginning stages through completion. Managing single or multiple national accounts through a consistent presence at the various customer levels/locations, as well as the ongoing quality control measures at our supply chain partners facilities. This position is ideal for self-starters with customer-facing etiquette, good communication skills and work ethic.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understands and supports the Account Director with all projects and services available through SLWM. Assumes full responsibility for assigned customer accounts.
- Independently performs the functions of an Account Manager with little to no guidance from the Account Director or Client Success senior leadership team.
- Must have a proven track record for clearing up discrepancies in a timely manner, keeping the open order report clean, consistently calls on client to maintain a proactive and productive workflow
- Initiates contact and consults with customers concerning their needs and the benefits of the services we provide
- Confers with customers to verify service satisfaction. Empowered to resolve customer complaints or other concerns
- Uses independent judgment to develop specs, compute and quote customer specific pricing, orders for new and current client needs
- Reviews past orders and current accounts to generate ideas for expanding services to clients. Looks for ways to increase profitability on orders and implements them after coordinating with the Account Executive
- Establishes payment schedules with client. Confers with other company personnel to convey client’s needs and monitors the progress of meeting such needs. Investigates potential new vendors, and adheres to SLWM preferred vendor list
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, tours, and reviewing professional publications. Up-to-date knowledge of our supply chain’s new equipment within our preferred partner network is necessary. The latest capabilities within our partner network are vital for us to bring these advancements to our marketplace.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
The following experience and skills are required to qualify for the position:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, operations, business; or equivalent; or combination of education and experience
- 5 years of strong experience in Account Management – National Accounts
- Deep understanding of tools and techniques in CRM or similar client relationship management applications
- Intermediate to Advanced MSFT Office software.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Strong ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to present ideas in client-friendly, non-technical and high-level language.
- Ability to operate with minimal supervision, self-motivated with keen attention to detail.
This position requires proof of US Citizenship to comply with federal contracting regulation. Offer contingent upon successful completion of background and drug screen per federal subcontractor requirements.
