Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Must comply and support all applicable GMPs, Site Security, and Food Packaging Defense requirements that are referenced in the facilities GFSI food packaging safety program.
- Lead Corrugator and Pre-Print departments with the supervisors to maintain safety, quality, and efficient production.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of a ‘Safety First’ culture
- Responsible for the control and maintenance of Plant safety, production, quality, and waste percentages to company expectations (4 key drivers)
- Responsible for training, planning, scheduling, assigning, and directing work, hiring, evaluating employee performance, employee accountability, promoting teamwork, resolving conflict and problem solving.
- Responsible for maintenance and scheduling of PMs in conjunction with the maintenance department
- Responsible for communicating openly with both Supervisors and hourly employees and other departments.
- Responsible for the maintenance and improvement daily corrugator housekeeping standard.
- Responsible for the development of supervisors for advancement within company
- Responsible for participating and resolving employee relations issues.
- Solve production problems that are not or cannot be resolved at the supervisory level.
- Oversee the inventory of parts and supplies to ensure a continuous operation. Oversee inventories of roll stock and corrugator supplies.
