REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting and Machine Operator experience preferred
- Must be able to work as a part of a team, and independently
- Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base profile (below) for this position
- Must meet the company quality and performance standards for the job as specified
- Must agree to wear the proper assigned PPE and shoes approved for this job as specified in Contact and Safety Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and operation of various machines
- Run material through machine according to company specifications
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
- Maintain the work area, keep equipment in clean and orderly condition, follows prescribed safety regulations
- Ensure correct materials are used to meet customer specifications
- Ensure all inventory entries are complete and accurate
- Inspect and maintain quality of product
- Meet all quality and efficiency standards
- Meet all company safety policies and report any concerns related to required maintenance of machines
- Test operation of machines periodically

The Employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop. kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
