The role involves ensuring the stability and reliability of critical trading applications, resolving production issues, and collaborating with development teams to enhance system performance.

Position

Full-time onsite production support role in trading and capital markets applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for trading and capital market applications.
• Monitor and resolve system issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions for recurring issues.
• Write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and scripts.
• Develop and debug Python scripts for application and data processing tasks.
• Work on UNIX-based systems for application support and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams for system enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to incident and change management processes.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in production support for trading or capital markets applications.
• Strong knowledge of trading systems and capital markets workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL for writing and debugging complex queries.
• Python scripting experience for automation and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX for system monitoring and issue resolution.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ITIL practices for incident and problem management.
• Experience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
  
  

Additional Information
