Overview: The Biomedical Equipment Technician II will support patient care by ensuring that medical equipment is functioning correctly and accurately. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, safety tests, calibrations, and repairs on diagnostic equipment.

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Responsibilities

• Perform significant preventative maintenance and safety tests/calibration on equipment.
• Repair and maintain medical equipment throughout the assigned area.
• Prioritize workload with minimal supervision.
• Maintain detailed records for work orders.
• Address and resolve customer service issues with minimal supervision.
• Assist in ordering parts and supplies for equipment servicing.
• Train other technicians on acquired skills.
• Communicate effectively with team members and colleagues.
  
  

Requirements

Must-Have:

• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience servicing technical equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• CBET certification preferred.
  
  

Preferred

• Equivalent military education or technical program training.
• Experience with various types of medical equipment and systems.
  
  

Additional Information

• Provides coverage and support for CE Lead as needed.
• Must be able to work independently and manage a varied workload.
