Overview

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Business Analyst to support the migration of existing DTC and BoNY flows to a new settlement platform. The role involves Agile business analysis, collaboration across teams, and expertise in securities settlement processes.

Position

• Duration: 12 months
• Work Requirement: Mandatory onsite, 5 days/week
  
  

Responsibilities

• Support the migration of DTC and BoNY settlement flows to a new platform.
• Collaborate with Operations and Technology stakeholders to ensure seamless migration.
• Conduct Agile business analysis to gather, document, and manage requirements.
• Act as a liaison between teams, managing project deliverables using JIRA and Microsoft Teams.
• Provide expertise in the full trade lifecycle from upstream systems to settlement.
  
  

Requirement Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Security Settlements Expertise:
• Strong understanding of the securities settlement lifecycle in capital markets.
• Familiarity with custody of assets and middle-office activities (preferred).
• Knowledge of DTC and BoNY settlement processes (highly desirable).
• Business Analysis:
• Proven experience as an Agile business analyst with stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in tools like JIRA, Microsoft Teams, and MS Office Suite.
• Capital Markets Knowledge:
• Experience in custody, asset management, or middle-office activities.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and navigate complex organizational structures.
  

Nice-to-Have

• Prior experience with custody-related operations involving BoNY Mellon.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
  
  

Additional Information

• This is an onsite role requiring presence 5 days a week in Baltimore, MD.
• Contract position for 12 months with the potential for extension.
