Overview

The Data Quality Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data quality solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and IDQ. This role requires expertise in data profiling, cleansing, and testing frameworks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data for business operations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data quality solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and IDQ.
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and integrate quality frameworks.
• Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and standardization to improve data accuracy.
• Develop and execute automated and manual testing frameworks for data validation.
• Monitor data pipelines to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Utilize Java, Python, or Groovy to enhance data quality processes.
• Work with DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes) for CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Document data quality processes, frameworks, and testing strategies.
• Provide ongoing support for troubleshooting data discrepancies.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in data quality engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or IDQ.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Groovy.
• Strong understanding of relational (SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and testing frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
  
  

Additional Information

• Hybrid role requiring onsite presence in Fort Mill, SC, or Austin, TX
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
