Remote Data Scientist role with an esteemed banking client, focusing on advanced machine learning and NLP applications.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced data science principles to solve complex business challenges.
• Design, build, and optimize large language models (LLMs) and complex machine learning models for banking use cases.
• Leverage NLP techniques to analyze and process unstructured text data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement models in production, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation using best practices.
• Translate data into actionable solutions by providing insights and recommendations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and NLP technologies.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Data Science principles, including statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning.
• Proven experience in building large language models (LLMs) and complex machine learning models.
• Hands-on experience with NLP frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, spaCy, or Hugging Face.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R and data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred).
