Overview

The ETL & Reporting Production Support Specialist will ensure the smooth functioning of critical ETL and reporting workflows on the Microsoft Windows platform. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting, monitoring, and collaboration across teams to maintain optimal performance and timely delivery of data processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for ETL and reporting processes on Microsoft Windows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL and reporting issues using Microsoft SSIS and SSRS.
• Write and optimize complex DML queries in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Monitor data workflows to ensure timely delivery of reports and integrations.
• Collaborate with teams to manage incidents, changes, and problem resolution using tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or Jira.
• Offer support and troubleshooting for Power BI where applicable.
• Work in shifts and provide on-call support as needed.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Windows-based ETL and reporting production support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server with expertise in complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS and SSRS.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for ETL and reporting issues.
• Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or Jira for ticket and incident management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work shifts and provide on-call support.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience with Power BI.
• Certification in SQL Server or ETL tools.
• Exposure to ITIL processes or Agile environments.
  
  

Additional Information

The candidate will be supporting critical ETL and reporting processes for Jefferies through Capco. This is an onsite position located in Jersey City, NJ, requiring flexibility for shifts and on-call support.

Candidate Details

• Minimum 3 years of production support experience in ETL and reporting.
• Strong skills in SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS troubleshooting.
• Effective communication and incident management expertise.
