Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of Enterprise Data Architecture (EDA) for the Merger & Acquisition (M&A) group at LPL Financial. This role focuses on modernizing data systems, supporting business growth, and driving digital transformation.

Position: Data Architect (Full-Time) Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of Enterprise Data Architecture (EDA)
• Develop data architecture models to support business growth and digital transformation
• Create and execute multi-year transition plans for data modernization
• Collaborate with business, product, and technology teams to integrate architecture thinking into product development
• Contribute to enterprise data solutions and cloud migration strategies
• Ensure data protection, governance, and risk management best practices
• Align data architecture with enterprise standards and advocate for reusable patterns
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in data architecture
• Expertise in SQL, NoSQL, GraphDB, Kafka, and streaming solutions
• 5 years of experience with AWS and Azure (one cloud certification required)
• Proven experience in migrating legacy platforms to modern data systems
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM), Data Marketplace, and Enterprise Analytics
• Familiarity with machine learning, NLP tools, and deep learning frameworks is a plus
