White Plains Hospital is seeking skilled MRI Technologists for full-time and per diem positions. In this role, you will be responsible for performing MRI examinations with a focus on patient care and quality imaging.
Position
- Full Time: Tue-Sat 3P-11P
- Full Time: Wed-Sun 3P-11P including Holidays
- Per Diem: Evenings Varied
- Per Diem: Mon 11A-7P, Sat 8A-4P
- Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations, ensuring adherence to specific protocols.
- Assist physicians during procedures and review scans for quality and completeness.
- Perform quality assurance, calibrations, and maintain cleanliness of equipment.
- Educate patients and family members about the examination process.
- Stay prepared for emergency procedures and situations in the department.
- Maintain continuing education requirements to meet professional standards.
- Graduation from an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or ARMRIT; must become ARRT MR certified within 1 year of hire.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required within 90 days of hire.
- IV certification preferred or by completion of a 6-month orientation.
- MRI safety certification level 2 required yearly.
