Overview

We are looking for a skilled Search Architect specializing in Search and Content Enrichment using Generative AI to join our team. This role will be critical in leading pre-sales activities, client discovery sessions, and driving AI-powered search projects. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to initiate projects, lead teams, and contribute to building a strong AI community within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales engagements, client discovery sessions, and project planning.
• Architect and develop search solutions leveraging Generative AI and content enrichment techniques.
• Design and implement scalable search systems using Java, Spring, and AI-driven NLP models.
• Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) with the team to validate ideas and mitigate project risks.
• Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance applications with prompt engineering best practices.
• Implement vector search techniques using vector databases and optimize performance.
• Apply document chunking strategies for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Utilize Spring AI, Chain of Thought reasoning, DSP, and other advanced AI techniques.
• Design and develop AI-driven agents and tools to enhance search functionalities.
• Deploy and optimize search solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI, ensuring state-of-the-art search implementations.
• Ensure AI solutions align with Responsible AI principles and Human-AI interaction best practices.
  
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Programming & Frameworks: Java, Spring, Spring AI
• Prompt Engineering: Best practices for optimizing LLM interactions
• NLP Expertise: Understanding of classification, Named Entity Recognition (NER), summarization, question answering, sentiment analysis, etc.
• LLM Development: Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, DSPy, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Vector Search & Indexing: Expertise in vector search methods, vector databases, and performance tuning
• Document Understanding: Advanced document chunking techniques for AI-powered search
• AI Agents & Tools: Experience with agentic design patterns and tool integration
• Cloud Technologies: Strong familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in IT services or consulting
• Strong understanding of Generative AI challenges, risks, and mitigation strategies
• Familiarity with evaluating LLM-based systems and measuring performance metrics
• Hands-on experience with joint vision-language and generative models for multi-modal applications
• Knowledge of cost optimization and scalability approaches for AI-driven search solutions
• Experience designing architectures for chatbots, text-to-SQL, and document understanding applications
  
  

Additional Information

• The candidate must be based in the Houston/Dallas area as this is a hybrid role, requiring attendance at client offices on certain days of the week.
