Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in equity trading and analytics to work directly with the Equities Trading Desks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Bloomberg terminals, quantitative analysis, and advanced Excel infrastructure development, including macros. Proficiency in Python and SQL is essential, along with the ability to automate workflows and support traders in executing their strategies effectively.

Responsibilities

• Bloomberg Terminal Expertise: Build custom indexes and worksheets using Bloomberg’s BDH/BQL/BDP languages.
• Excel Infrastructure: Develop and integrate Bloomberg data into Excel for trading and analytics purposes.
• Quantitative Analysis: Design and implement factor scores for custom equity baskets and apply advanced statistical techniques.
• Excel Development: Create Excel automations and macros to streamline trading processes and build visualizations.
• Coding and Automation: Develop Python scripts and SQL queries to automate workflows and support data analysis and integration.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience working with Bloomberg terminals (BDH, BQL, BDP).
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including macros and advanced automation techniques.
• Solid experience with quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and factor score development.
• Experience with Python and SQL for coding, automation, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of multivariable calculus and fractal mathematics for advanced modeling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize trading workflows.
