Overview

The Sr. Full Stack (React/Node) Developer will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and running complex applications in a hybrid working environment, supporting the SSA. The role requires senior-level full-stack development experience in both frontend and backend technologies, particularly Node.js and React.js.

Position

The developer will work in an Agile environment, contribute to the overall software architecture, and be involved in mentoring team members. Responsibilities include developing modern web applications, optimizing SQL queries, and building RESTful services while ensuring security and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern full-stack applications using Node.js and React.js.
• Build and optimize RESTful Web Services using Node.js.
• Mentor team members on technology best practices.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies like scrums, planning events, and retrospectives.
• Ensure optimal performance through SQL query optimization in PostgreSQL.
• Develop solutions in alignment with DevOps practices and CI/CD processes.
  
  

Requirement Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 10 years of experience in modern software development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and React.js.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Express.js, MobX, Redux, or Flux.js).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, SQL, and query optimization.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance.
• Familiarity with testing tools and version control systems like Git.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HTML/CSS, various JavaScript frameworks, and tools like Jenkins and AWS.
• Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL and SOLR.
• Understanding of Agile SAFe methodology, cloud technologies, and in-memory data structures.
