Responsibilities
- Provide high-level customer service to job applicants.
- Assist in recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel.
- Execute recruitment plans, including interviewing, assessing, and recommending candidates.
- Facilitate the interview process and handle new hire paperwork.
- Conduct background checks and maintain confidentiality.
- Schedule new hires for physicals and drug tests.
- Prepare and present job offers and manage related paperwork.
- Input and track applicant data in PeopleSoft.
- Ensure compliance with EEO guidelines and support non-discriminatory hiring procedures.
- Assist with new employee orientation and training efforts.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum one year of recruiting/staffing experience. Strong sourcing skills through web sourcing, Boolean searches, referrals, social media, etc. HR/recruiting certifications preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) and PeopleSoft HCM. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Licenses/Certificates: Valid Driver's License; must acquire a Virginia Driver's License within 60 days of hire.
