Description

DSA Doors, the leading premium wood door manufacturing company in the United States, has an opening for a Sales Specialist with CAD drafting or interpreting skillset in the Raleigh, NC office. We have an excellent opportunity within our sales team as a Custom Order Specialist. You will be the point-of-contact for our customers to provide sales and support of our architectural services. You need to be eager to learn, ready to provide top-notch customer service and sell our quality products and be ready for other tasks as assigned to accomplish the goals and objectives of the sales group. The position is full-time with benefits, plus an opportunity to earn monthly sales bonus!

Responsibilities

  • Manage custom orders from inception to delivery, including working directly with clients to clarify technical specifications.
  • Review customer-submitted CAD drawings and collaborate with designers to ensure manufacturability.
  • Convert customer specifications into clear production instructions.
  • Generate quotes and timelines for custom orders.
  • Advise clients on material choices, finishes, and design options.
  • Provide feedback to customers on production timelines, delays, and technical challenges.
  • Ensure all custom orders meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate information is provided to clients and that all details are captured for production.
  • Input all communications and documents into the CRM system.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications & Preferences

  • 2-4 years of experience in customer service, technical sales, or order management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple custom orders at different stages of production.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality customer service.
  • Knowledge of the building supply, hardware and/or doors/windows industries.
