Responsibilities
- Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials.
- Picking and filling orders from stock, packing, shipping orders.
- Managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
- Working closely with supervisor to complete all tasks in timely manner.
- Continuously improve warehouse operations through the use of lean enterprise practices.
- Assist shipping and receiving with unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
- Accurately package, label, and weigh items to be shipped and ensure proper shipment method and shipping charges.
- Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer program.
- Inspect freight upon arrival to ensure all goods are in acceptable condition, document and signs of damage, and resolve freight claims in a timely manner.
- Assist with pull/pick of small parts and pieces for shipment.

Requirements
Requirements of the position:
- 2 years of experience in previous experience in similar roles or responsibilities
- HS Diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Demonstrated proficiency with shipping software programs. Sage 100 experience is a plus!
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of standing and bending for long periods.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
- Understand written and oral instructions.
- Forklift experience preferred.
