What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Software Java Developer position at DSA?
DSA is hiring a SECRET cleared Java Developer. This position is remote and duites include but are not limitied to :
- Design, develop and execute manual and automated tests during software and system development to ensure they are operational and effective prior to release.
- Work with developers and stakeholders to get an understanding of what the system is meant to do, its functionality and who the end-users are
- Decompose complex or large systems into smaller parts to test
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases and detailed test scripts
- Uses COTS testing software and frameworks perform automated testing and reporting
- Perform a variety of test types including unit, functional, security, regression, limit, integration, stress, performance and scalability
- Report progress, risks and bugs identified to the software development and project management teams
- Perform testing in a variety of platforms and components including networks, operating systems, applications, databases, browsers and mobile devices
- Understand, follows and promotes the values and principles in the Agile Manifesto
- Understand, follows and promotes continuous cyber security risk management
