We are looking for technically skilled candidates with good problem-solving abilities for the position of IT Technician. The duties include the installation of network and low voltage cabling, wired/wireless networks, security camera systems, phone systems, microwave networks, intrusion systems, and door access systems as well as being a point of contact for customer IT related questions, responding to user needs in a timely manner, and ensuring the optimal running of all systems, among other duties. This role also includes troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing telecom equipment and systems, including hardware and software, while providing technical support to users and ensuring smooth communication operations.
- Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
- Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for problem resolution.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components.
- Repairing or replacing damaged computer hardware.
- Establishing good relationships with all clients and colleagues.
- Managing technical documentation.
- Keeping accurate and detailed descriptions of services performed while on a service call.
- Assisting with installation of Ethernet and low voltage cabling as well as various network or security systems.
- Office and field-based work, including server rooms, rooftops, and outdoor environments.

Required
1. 3 years of experience in IT support and systems maintenance.

7. Experience in low-voltage cabling, camera placement, and field installation.

• Ability to select the proper type of cable and perform installation in plenum or non-plenum rated environments.
