Duties/Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer order inquiries via email and phone for new orders, pending orders, and orders already delivered.
• Confirm product availability with the warehouse before finalizing new orders.
• Enter new orders into EDI system and confirm accuracy of pricing, quantities, etc.
• Process and ship/ direct-ship all customer orders to meet delivery deadlines.
• Provide order status updates and tracking information as requested.
• Set up new accounts and manage weekly account updates via the CRM.
• Report service requests and communicate requests to appropriate department.
• Respond to invoice inquiries and provide invoice copies or payment options upon request.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills:
• At least two years of previous administrative or operational support experience within the manufacturing and/or distribution industries.
• Previous experience with EDI and CRM software
• Proficient with MS Office suite, especially intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Time management skills to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
