Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate an excavator efficiently and safely to load trucks with fill dirt from our dirt pit. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an excavator to load trucks with fill dirt in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure the excavator is in proper working condition.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with truck drivers and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of equipment.
- Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of the dirt pit as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
