DSG is seeking a Supply Chain Intern in our Fargo, ND location. This 12-week summer internship is an opportunity to gain valuable industry knowledge and hands-on professional experience in various facets of supply chain operations while contributing to the enhancement of efficiency and effectiveness of a high-volume distribution network. As a Supply Chain Intern, you will play a crucial role in s upporting our supply chain team in optimizing the end-to-end distribution process through inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics coordination, and supplier relationships, as well as data analysis, forecasting, and demand planning.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Supply Chain Intern at DSG:
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and track stock movement and inventory through cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Coordinate replenishment orders to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Help identify and address inventory discrepancies.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Assist in processing and tracking customer orders.
- Support order fulfillment workflows.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Assist in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments.
- Prepare shipment schedules to optimize transportation routes and costs.
- Help track shipment progress and resolve delivery issues.
- Supplier Relationship Management:
- Assist in maintaining communication with suppliers.
- Support the collection and organization of supplier information.
- Data Analysis and Forecasting:
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting supply chain data.
- Generate reports on performance metrics (e.g., lead times, delivery accuracy).
- Support forecasting and demand planning activities.
- Utilize data to identify trends and areas for process improvement.
- General Support:
- Provide administrative support to the supply chain team.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
- Current enrollment in a college or university taking at least 6 creditsduring either the spring or summer 2025 semesters; program of study must be related to Supply Chain, Industrial Distribution, Business Administration, Sales, or other related field(s) (required).
- Eagerness to learn, with a strong interest in supply chain operations

Salary : $18 - $25
