Overview:
We seek compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by delivering personalized care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Providing daily care assistance to our residents, including but not limited to medications, preparing & cooking meals, cleaning, etc.
- Providing daily care to our facility's feathered and four-legged residents, including feeding, watering, etc.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to our residents, fostering a positive environment
- Administer first aid as needed and ensure a safe living environment for all residents
- Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and observations
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing home or home health is preferred
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow them effectively
- Strong understanding of patient monitoring techniques and basic first-aid practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Physical capability to lift 50 lbs. when required
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life
- Ability to work Wednesday and Thursday 5:45 am to 2:00 pm or Wednesday to Saturday from 5:45 am to 2 pm, with some flexibility to work as late as 6 pm with advanced notice
