Caregiver

Overview:

We seek compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by delivering personalized care and support.

Responsibilities:

• Providing daily care assistance to our residents, including but not limited to medications, preparing & cooking meals, cleaning, etc.
• Providing daily care to our facility's feathered and four-legged residents, including feeding, watering, etc.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to our residents, fostering a positive environment
• Administer first aid as needed and ensure a safe living environment for all residents
• Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and observations
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing home or home health is preferred
• Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow them effectively
• Strong understanding of patient monitoring techniques and basic first-aid practices
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
• Physical capability to lift 50 lbs. when required
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life
• Ability to work Wednesday to Saturday from 6 am to 2 pm, with some flexibility to work as late as 6 pm with advanced notice
