REQUIREMENTS: Hours as directed by job assignment and client contract. Computer literacy preferred in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook. High School education or equivalent experience. Previous security or related experience preferred. Good communication and writing skills. Clean driving record and background.
RESPONSIBLE for, but not limited to the following:
The Field Manager must have the ability to supervise and interact with officers from all lifestyles, to make mature decisions and be able to work those hours essential to accomplish the task. Must have a general knowledge of personnel supervision, administration, and scheduling of officers. Field Manager shall possess communication skills and qualities such as creditability and proper maintenance and display of DSI’ Uniform. Standards. Ensures compliance of Post Orders to fulfill our contractual obligations to our Clients, as well as liaison with our Clients.
More specifically, Field Managers will be responsible for route planning to include covering as many post checks as possible ensuring you visit the mandatory post for sign-off. Pick up time sheets as specified.
Maintains the Supervisor Log Book noting all activity during your tour of duty. Ensures the security officer’s are properly completing their DAR’s (Daily Activity Reports) and your visit to the post is signed off in red pen and highlighted in yellow.
Scheduling and officer assignments are required at some sites and coordinated with the Operations Manger. Ensure security officers have sign-in sheets completed properly and submitted to the payroll coordinator in a timely fashion. Reviews officers daily activity reports for completion and contents. Should you find problems or issues, follow-up immediately with branch management or client as indicated.
Create a positive work environment, conduct training on the basic rules and regulations that apply to all posts, ensuring DSI’s Code of Ethics and Employee Standards are followed. Conduct training on specific client post instructions. Conduct standard training on First aid and CPR procedures.
Be familiar with DSI’s Safety Manual so that you can provide training, observation, and enforcement of DSI’s safety program. Responsible for the timely completion of Incident Reports to the Branch Manager. Reports any accidents, illnesses, or injuries immediately to the Branch Manager.
