Position Summary
DSI Tech is seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Network Technician for our expanding company. This is a full-time position, and the shift requirement is days, evenings, and nights. It will be an alternating shift assignment. The position is based at our corporate headquarters in Ashburn, VA.

Position Responsibilities
- Provide customer support by handling calls, resolving problems, and managing trouble tickets in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Will resolve incidents related to tickets created by clients and continuously monitoring alerts generated by our tools to address these incidents.
- Escalate complex or undocumented issues to higher-level technical resources, such as Senior Technicians and Engineers.
- Drive the resolution of issues related to telephony faults and outages, including incident management processes.
- Provide technical support via phone, email, and proactive monitoring for customers' servers, computers, and network devices.
- Perform basic Cisco network administration duties such as assisting in the configuration of routers and switches, patch cabling, modifying existing switches, and performing switch upgrades.
- Will work in a 24/7 Network Operations Center environment, rotating through defined shifts.
- Will verify that switches and routers and their configured network services and protocols operate as intended within specific network specifications.
- Will exchange information clearly and concisely, present ideas, and report facts and other relevant information.
- Will manage your own workflow and resolve questions and issues with your supervisor.
- Understands and adheres to safety and security practices., as well as company policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge
- You possess a CCNA or are working toward certification. NOTE: CCNA is preferred over working toward the certification.
- You hold a CCENT and are working towards your CCNA.
- You have a Bachelor’s Tech degree from a 4 year accredited University or College such as: BS in Technology, BS in Electronics and Communication, BS in Electrical Engineering, BS in Mechanical Engineering, BS in Computer Science OR you hold an Associate’s degree in a technical field related to network engineering
- You have 6 months to 1 year in a Network Technician role
- Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Solarwinds or Remedy
- Your personality is dynamic and you possess the ability to establish and maintain a rapport with customers at both the business and technical level
- You demonstrate excellent communication in English. This includes:

- You are comfortable working in a demanding environment where client satisfaction is the ultimate goal
- You’re a team player with good customer service and communication skills
- You have a sense of humor and enjoy working in a team-oriented office environment
