We are a commercial construction company specializing in interiors/exteriors primarily drywall, framing, carpentry (metal stud framing) taping, and acoustical ceilings. We are looking to hire an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the planning and execution of various construction projects.
Job Summary:
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. You will coordinate with general contractors, manage project schedules, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain the project’s budget and timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Lead the planning and coordination of project resources, timelines, and budgets.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and manage project teams, including contractors, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Budget Management: Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Quality Control: Ensure that work complies with project specifications and meets industry standards.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, project teams, and stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and resolving issues.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, codes, and standards, including safety protocols.
- Scheduling: Develop detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and invoices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects (residential, commercial, or industrial).
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract law, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project.etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- OSHA 30-hour or equivalent safety certification preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
