DSJ Global is partnered with a leading, Fortune 500, industrial manufacturing organization based in the greater Atlanta area. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Engineering to lead the engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering management, a proven track record of optimizing manufacturing processes, and the ability to drive innovation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the engineering roadmap, aligning it with the company's strategic objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to define project requirements, establish timelines, and ensure successful delivery.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing performance.
- Manage the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment to ensure smooth work operations.
- Coordinate with R&D and procurement departments to bring new products from concept to reality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is highly desirable
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong track record of successfully managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Project Management
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including FDA, ISO, and other regulatory standards
Salary : $150,000 - $225,000
