**Job Title:** Director of Operational Excellence
**Position Overview:** At DSJ Global, we are seeking a highly skilled Director of Operational Excellence to lead our efforts in driving operational excellence across the organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process optimization and implementing initiatives that enhance performance, reduce waste, and improve product quality and delivery.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a catalyst for continuous improvement, leading change initiatives across the organization.
- Gather and analyze operational data, such as cycle time, yield, and throughput, to set priorities and use appropriate improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Lead value stream mapping exercises to identify opportunities to eliminate waste and improve process efficiency.
- Drive the implementation of process improvements and cost-saving measures that enhance quality, reduce lead time, and improve delivery performance.
- Mentor and coach leadership teams, including project leaders, managers, and supervisors, in continuous improvement methodologies.
- Provide training to employees at all levels on lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
- Lead cross-functional teams in Kaizen, Kaikaku, and Six Sigma initiatives to drive improvements.
- Recommend and execute strategies to improve value-added activities within operations.

- A respected technical expert with experience in continuous improvement methodologies.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification (or equivalent) is preferred.
- Proven track record of driving organizational change and improvement.
- A background in technical fields such as engineering, operations, or business management, with relevant training and development in continuous improvement.
- Proficient in utilizing operating systems, spreadsheets, databases, presentation tools, and word processing software.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field; Master's degree preferred.
