Develop and execute the procurement strategy aligned with business goals and production requirements.
Lead and manage the procurement team across multiple sites or regions.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials, equipment, MRO supplies, and capital goods.
Drive cost optimization initiatives, including supplier consolidation, strategic sourcing, and value engineering.
Establish KPIs and monitor procurement performance metrics (cost savings, delivery performance, inventory levels, etc.).
Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and finance to forecast demand and manage budgets.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, corporate policies, and ethical sourcing standards.
Implement risk mitigation strategies for supply chain disruptions and maintain business continuity plans.
Leverage ERP systems and procurement technologies to improve process efficiency and reporting.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, supplier innovation, and strategic partnerships.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the heavy manufacturing sector (e.g., automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, etc.).
Proven expertise in sourcing raw materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, castings, forgings), CAPEX procurement, and vendor management.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and financial acumen.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with international sourcing, tariffs, and logistics is a plus.
Salary : $180,000 - $200,000
