Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to oversee distribution efforts across our large-scale manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing teams of 150 employees and ensuring seamless coordination across all warehouse functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 150 employees, including supervisors, warehouse staff, and cross-functional teams.
- Oversee the distribution, transportation and logistics operations within a large manufacturing environment.
- Ensure efficient and timely distribution of aerospace products to meet customer demands.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations and improve productivity.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., production, quality control, procurement) to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control to prevent shortages or excesses.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Analyze performance data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in distribution management within a large manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace industry.
