Engineering Manager

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager to join the team, a leader in appliance manufacturing. The Engineering Manager will oversee product development initiatives, manage a team of talented engineers, and ensure the successful design, testing, and production of innovative, high-quality appliances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management:
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Set goals, monitor performance, and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
• Product Development:
• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept and design to production and market launch.
• Ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements while aligning with customer needs and company goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and quality, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
• Project Management:
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful execution of product development projects.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 7 years of experience in engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management position.
• Proven expertise in product development within the appliance manufacturing industry or a related field.
