Job Title: Engineering Program Manager
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Engineering Program Manager to join a dynamic Automotive Engineering/Project Management team. As an Engineering Program manager you will be responsible to ensure the right tech solutions are developed and introduced into vehicles for the North America market. This role requires strong technical expertise in automotive engineering, project management, and a passion for innovation in vehicle design and system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage expertise in Electrical Systems & Technology platform development to support daily operations and decision-making
- Work within an Agile environment to effectively manage and deliver projects
- Document, plan, and oversee multiple projects while ensuring seamless coordination across teams.
- Quickly analyze technical challenges, assess potential impacts, summarize key insights, and provide well-founded recommendations
- Exhibit strong leadership and influence by guiding stakeholders and contributing to final decision-making processes
- Apply analytical, financial, and leadership skills to drive technical and business objectives
- Maintain a strategic perspective, ensuring that daily tasks align with broader organizational goals
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or similar is required; MS preferred
- 8-12 years of experience in automotive or a related field
- Project Management and/or cross-functional team lead experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive expertise in Electrical Systems and Technology platform development
- Proficient in Agile methodology with experience in project execution
- Skilled in planning, documentation, and coordinating multiple projects effectively
- Adaptable and quick to analyze technical topics, assess impacts, summarize findings, and provide well-informed technical recommendations
- Senior-level presence with the ability to influence final decisions as a key advising stakeholder
