Job Summary : Our client is looking for an experienced and dedicated EHS Manager to lead the environmental, health, and safety initiatives for their electric vehicle charging manufacturing operations. This role involves developing and implementing EHS programs that ensure the safety of our employees, customers, and the environment while adhering to industry regulations and best practices. The EHS Manager will also play a key role in risk management and continuous improvement efforts related to safety and sustainability within the EV charging infrastructure space.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and programs for EV charging installations and operations.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential safety hazards and environmental impacts.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to mitigate future risks.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS protocols and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, etc.) to ensure safe design, installation, and operation of charging stations.
- Promote sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction and energy efficiency improvements.
- Prepare and maintain EHS reports, including regulatory filings and documentation for audits.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulatory changes, and best practices in EHS management.
