We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Professional to join our team at DSJ Global. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the development, implementation, and maintenance of health and safety programs within the chemical manufacturing facility.
This role requires strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other applicable health and safety regulations. You will lead and support site safety committees and employee safety engagement initiatives, ensuring proper training programs are in place, including onboarding safety training, periodic refresher courses, and emergency response drills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard analyses to identify and mitigate workplace risks.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses; determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain compliance records, safety reports, and documentation to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in a chemical or manufacturing environment.
- Certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) are preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
