Manufacturing Quality Expert

About the Role:

The will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet customer quality requirements. This role involves developing and implementing quality control systems, analyzing production processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances.
• Perform internal audits, supplier audits, and assist in external regulatory audits.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Analyze data from inspections and testing to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing quality plans and inspection criteria.
• Create and maintain quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), control plans, and work instructions.
• Work with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality requirements.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor and improve production processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in a quality engineering role within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
• Proficiency in quality tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and statistical process control (SPC).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software.
