Location: New Albany, MS

Compensation: $80,000 - $130,000 per year

Summary

My client, a motor vehicle manufacturer, is seeking a skilled and experienced Materials Manager. This role is essential for overseeing the materials management process, ensuring efficient production, and maintaining high standards of quality and inventory control.

Essential Functions

• Develop and implement materials management strategies.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams.
• Manage inventory control and procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage the cycle count program.
• Approve departmental expenses and participate in the budgetary process.
• Maintain company metrics and report on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials management, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of automotive processes (EDI, PPAP, etc.).
• Past experience in a Tier 1 or Tier 1 Automotive OEM parts production facility.
