Join our team as a Quality Assurance Manager and play a pivotal role in maintaining the excellence of our products. In this dynamic position, you'll lead the charge in compliance with Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) requirements, using HACCP principles to enhance our FSQ programs in line with FSMA regulations, SQF standards, and Organic/Kosher certifications. As a key member of both plant leadership and corporate FSQ teams, you'll drive initiatives that ensure our customers enjoy our products with full confidence and satisfaction. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for:
- Lead FS&Q compliance at the manufacturing site.
- Maintain and improve the Food Safety & Quality Plan.
- Act as SQF practitioner and audit contact.
- Ensure compliance with Organic and Kosher certifications.
- Educate and train personnel on FSQ practices.
- Track and improve FSQ metrics.
- Manage quality-related incident reporting and resolution.
- Oversee document control for FSQ policies and procedures.
- Conduct material qualifications testing.
- Lead site Recall and Food Defense teams.
- Travel to other locations as needed.
The Quality Assurance Manager will have the following qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S. in Food Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years FS&Q experience in food/beverage/consumer products.
- Certifications: HACCP, PCQI, HARPC, SQF Practitioner.
