Senior Planner
Location : Greater Albany Area
Salary : $75,000 - 95,000 plus bonus potential
A market leading manufacturing company is looking for a Senior Planner that will be responsible for strategic management, inventory, and supplier management. This is a newly created position that will work diligently to forge longstanding partnership and implement effective planning strategies. This company has facilities across the country as well as Canada and is looking to expand very quickly! While production is continually increasing, they value quality products being created and will continue to strive for nothing but the best for their consumers.
The Senior Planner will be responsible for the following :
- Analyze material requirements and provides forecasts
- Manages movement of materials from suppliers to external warehouses
- Proactively collaborates with the sourcing team on any sourcing challenge
- Maintains the SAP planning system to ensure all item level planning attributes are properly
- Understand / manage safety stock / inventory targets for various regions / plants
