Job Description:
Position Overview: They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indirect Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories, including but not limited to IT, marketing, professional services, and more. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories to achieve cost savings and value creation.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with sourcing strategies.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and efficiencies.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably in the financial services industry
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working in eProcurement/eSourcing technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
