Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Supplier Quality Engineer with a strong background in chemistry to enhance our supplier quality management processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest quality standards, particularly in the chemical components used in our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, capability, and performance metrics.
- Conduct audits and assessments of supplier quality systems and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality metrics and dashboards.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives related to supplier quality.
- Provide training and support to suppliers on quality standards and expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supplier quality management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier quality engineering, with a focus on chemical suppliers.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Proven experience in conducting supplier audits and assessments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
